Dennis Fortier     President and CEO

Prior to joining Medical Care Corporation in 2002, Mr. Fortier spent 10 years with Bausch & Lomb in a series of international marketing and general management positions including Global Director of Strategy where he managed long-term business development for the company's surgical business.

Mr. Fortier holds an MBA from Cornell University and an MA from the University of California, Irvine.



William R. Shankle, MS MD     Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Shankle co-founded the Alzheimer's Clinic at the University of California, Irvine in 1987 and served as its medical director for 10 years. He currently runs the largest, private AD clinic in Orange County, CA.

In 2001, Dr. Shankle received the Alzheimer's Association's most prestigious honor, the Zenith Fellows Award. His findings on human brain development were reported by The New York Times (January 4, 2000) to be one of the most important scientific discoveries of the 1990's.

Dr. Shankle received his BS from Stanford University, MS in biostatistics from USC and his MD from Brown University.



Tushar Mangrola, MS     Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Mangrola brings over 15 years of experience in information technology to the company. Prior to joining Medical Care Corporation, Mr. Mangrola was a founder of SolidSource Corporation, an application service provider. He has also held positions at both PriceWaterhouseCoopers and PeopleSoft.

Mr. Mangrola holds a BSEE from Sardar Patel University in India and an MSEE from California State University, Sacramento.



Junko Hara, PhD     Chief Scientific Officer

Dr. Hara oversees operations of Medical Care Corporation including research, product development, and long-term technical planning. Prior to establishing MCC, from 1994-1998 she participated in the development and commercialization of new electroencephalogram technology for early detection of Alzheimer's disease at BFL Inc., followed by the establishment of the Shankle clinic.

Dr. Hara holds a BSCS from the University of Tokushima, and a Ph.D. from Keio University, Japan.
