The MCI Screen was developed in collaboration with physicians in busy clinical practices who face the challenge of delivering high-volume care in an increasingly restrictive reimbursement environment. This collaborative effort has resulted in a product that fits seamlessly and productively into today's fast-paced clinical practices.
GUIDED ASSESSMENT
The MCI Screen features fully guided administration in English and Spanish that enforces consistency across assessments and across different administrators. This ensures that longitudinal tracking of memory performance is not unnecessarily biased by variability in the assessment process.
SECURE ONLINE ACCESS
Online access is securely brokered through SSL transactions and all data exchange and storage protocols comply with HIPAA guidelines. Because MCC’s application runs online and requires no downloads to your local computer, you need not worry about system maintenance, product updates, or data backups. Furthermore, you may access your account and all of your patient information from any internet-enabled computer at any time.
REAL-TIME REPORT GENERATION AND ACCESS
|
Immediate report generation allows real time input to the physician enabling appropriate patient care as well as timely reimbursement for the memory assessment procedure. The MCI Screen report includes an over all impression (Normal vs. Impaired), the patient’s MPI score, item scores for each cognitive task, and a clinical discussion based on the SOAP note format. All past assessment reports are accessible through easy pull-down menus and can be viewed and printed at anytime from any internet-enabled computer.

CLINICAL PATH
The MCI Screen report also provides the clinical path for the differential diagnosis of Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders in accordance with NINDS-ADRDA guidelines.
LONGITUDINAL MONITORING
All assessment results for an individual patient can be compared and tracked using the system’s longitudinal view function. Longitudinal monitoring is especially useful for measurement of treatment efficacy and for the timely identification of abnormal changes from the patient’s baseline.
